The CDC Foundation helps the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) save and improve lives by unleashing the power of collaboration between CDC, philanthropies, corporations, organizations and individuals to protect the health, safety and security of America and the world. The CDC Foundation seeks a full-time candidate for the position of UX Developer to support the Maternal Mortality Review Data System project. The candidate will be hired as a field employee by the CDC Foundation and housed at the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at the CDC’s Chamblee Campus in Atlanta, Georgia.

This is a CDC Foundation position that will work primarily with the Maternal Mortality Review Data System team and other partners.
The UX Developer will:
- support the lead developer in implementing and enhancing features according to requirements, working through a defined project backlog, and quickly implementing bug fixes;
- rapidly deploy new code;
- work in an agile environment and contribute to bi-weekly sprint planning meetings, attend daily standup calls and work in close collaboration with a small team; and
- work closely with a lead developer/architect, project manager, product owners and tester.
- well-versed in agile development.
- experience in server-side development using: C# 5.0, ASP.NET Web API 2, and Web MVC
- experience with Microsoft.NET/.NET Core, jQuery, and Bootstrap
- experience with CouchDB
- experience with Ecma Script 6 (ES6)
- familiarity with RXJS
- experience working with Git, Vagrant, and Debian Linux
