Reducing Maternal and Neonatal Mortality in Sub-Saharan Africa

Program Description: To create centers of excellence and expand emergency obstetric and neonatal care capacity in regions of Tanzania. The CDC Foundation will implement activities to evaluate maternal and perinatal outcomes and health facility improvements in Tanzania, and provide scientific expertise and technical assistance to partners in Tanzania, Malawi and Nigeria.
