NEST Initiative

The NEST Initiative helps deliver newborn and maternal care supplies, practical tools, helpful guidance and connections to trusted resources that help families navigate the first weeks after birth with confidence. Through partnerships and donor support, the CDC Foundation is working to expand access to essential items for families who may otherwise go without.

The initiative focuses on reaching communities with the greatest need, including those in rural areas and maternity care deserts where access to basic supplies and support can be limited. By helping meet immediate needs, NEST supports healthier starts for both mothers and newborns.
