Health Happens Everywhere: Your Impact In Action

Health happens everywhere. It’s where we all live, learn, work and gather. It’s about the overall health of our community, our town, our neighborhood, our family. At the CDC Foundation, we work with partners—ranging from health departments to community-based organizations to private-sector organizations—in every state to expand health in our communities.

This work takes many forms—from partnering with organizations to expand access to healthier food, to collaborating with veteran-serving organizations to increase impact, to building strategies that expand neighborhood resources to combat the opioid crisis. Learn about these examples and more in our latest Impact Report, covering our work from our last fiscal year, July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

In this report, you will meet Maggie who is working in Kentucky to build a software application for those working in the field to gather and share public health data quickly to save the lives of those at risk of a drug overdose. You’ll also meet Lacy who is helping active-duty military members transition to civilian life in Georgia as well as Krista who is supporting expecting families and families with young children in Ohio while collaborating on the complex challenges around hunger and nutrition.

Thank you for making an impact. We hope you will see how this work positively impacts you—every individual, every family, every community.

Wherever you live, learn, work or gather, your collaboration and support are making all the difference.
