CDC Foundation Ranked One of Atlanta's Top 20 Charities
According to a recent report by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the CDC Foundation ranks as one of Atlanta's top charities – number 17 on the Chronicle's list of Atlanta's 50 Largest Nonprofit Organizations. The Chronicle ranked charities based on total 2011 annual revenue.
Atlanta has a vibrant nonprofit community, with many organizations focused on improving health through research, education, community services or international collaboration. In a previous Atlanta Business Chronicle issue, columnist Maria Saporta wrote that, "Atlanta can accurately claim to be a leading center for global health."
The CDC Foundation is proud to be part of such an important and esteemed community of organizations working to make a difference. We are especially proud of our role in supporting the life-saving work of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through public-private partnerships.
