Celebrating Healthy Futures Society Members

The name 'Healthy Futures Society' evokes an impressive commitment to public health—but what is it? Simply put, members of this exclusive group have included the CDC Foundation in their will or estate plans, ensuring that their values translate into actions lasting long beyond their lifetimes.

Healthy Futures Society members, understanding the necessity of building a healthier and safer future for us all, deeply appreciate the efforts of the CDC Foundation to extend and enhance the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) work. Knowing that the CDC Foundation relies on the contributions of individuals, foundations, corporations and other organizations to support its work and fill critical gaps that the CDC alone cannot address, members of this select group have pledged their support with a legacy gift.

The CDC Foundation created the Healthy Futures Society in recognition of this special group of donors, acknowledging that their lasting commitment allows the CDC Foundation to continue responding to emerging and urgent health threats, both now and in the future.

In February, the CDC Foundation will host a special event for Healthy Futures Society members and other supporters to thank them for their generosity and share important updates on the CDC Foundation's areas of impact. Attending members of the Healthy Futures Society will be formally presented with custom-designed membership pins. All attendees will have the opportunity to hear an exclusive update from Million Hearts Alliance Director Kinetra Joseph, MMC, on the program’s impact. Attendees can expect to come away feeling informed and inspired by the work this public-private coalition is doing in pursuit of its goal to prevent one million heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular disease events in the next five years.

The CDC Foundation would like to thank its supporters for their generosity, invite them to stay connected and involved with the CDC Foundation's work and encourage them to spread the word by inviting others to make their impact on public health by joining the Healthy Futures Society. If you have included the CDC Foundation in your estate plans, please let us know. We want to thank you and recognize you as a Healthy Futures Society member.
