To increase the number of organs that are used for transplant in Georgia and the U.S. by using advanced analytics methods for quantifying the risk and comparing survival of receiving a transplant versus remaining on the wait list, and embed these methods into easy-to-use multilingual decision support tools to assist doctors and patients in their decision-making. Overall, this research will lead to a comprehensive plan for increasing organ transplants and saving lives in Georgia and across the country.
