Data to Action and Monitoring Tobacco Use in Asia

Program Description: To build and enhance tobacco use surveillance and research capacity in Southeast Asia and China by expanding the Global Tobacco Surveillance System (GTSS). The GTSS will enable countries in the region to produce globally standardized tobacco use data and track key tobacco control measures among the region's adult populations. Funding is provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation through the Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use.
