Controlling Viral Foodborne Disease

Program Description: To help CDC collaborate with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture to create an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to developing improved tools, skills and capacity to study foodborne viruses. Outcomes of the partnership will be used to systematically identify risk factors and develop risk management strategies to reduce contamination in pre- and post-harvest environments.
