To target cohorts of critical district-level leaders and health officials in Uganda, aiming to harmonize the curricula for District Emergency Response activation with the frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program, while strengthening their respective surveillance components. This effort will incorporate both animal and human disease reporting, case management, infection prevention and control, practices to contain outbreaks at the source, electronic sample tracking and shared animal and human health surveillance and response data communications.
