Training Education & Advocacy

"Public health has become more complex as the world grows smaller. Despite the importance of public health, it is often poorly understood. Communicating what public health threats are, and how to prevent them, is critical."

- Robert A. Yellowlees,
CDC Foundation Board Member

A key role of the CDC Foundation is to introduce CDC and public health to a range of individuals - from civic and corporate leaders to students. A number of Foundation-supported fellowships, training opportunities and educational exhibits help individuals and groups experience CDC and learn more about how they can be a part of the solutions to some of our greatest health challenges. Examples of these programs and partners are below.
