Since the CDC Foundation began operating in 1995, we’ve forged a wide array of successful partnerships that boost the important work of CDC. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, the Foundation can accept funding and responsibly create programs that help donors and CDC scientists achieve their common goals.

Avon / CDC Foundation Mobile Access Program

Description: To award seven community organizations grants to implement mobile mammography screening programs to reach underserved women, such as the uninsured or those living in geographically remote areas.
