Individuals are integral partners of the CDC Foundation. The Foundation’s generous supporters have helped provide the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with essential resources to do things that might not otherwise have been possible. The unique opportunity to get involved with an organization as esteemed as CDC has inspired a diverse network of donors – from an 87-year-old woman who learned about the Foundation from a television documentary to a former bartender and philanthropist in Dallas who wanted to invest in better community HIV prevention training. Read more donor stories.
Every gift – large and small – contributes to the CDC Foundation’s ability to enhance the impact of CDC. Individuals interested in supporting the CDC Foundation at significant levels are eligible to become members of the Margaret Ellerbe Mahoney Society, established to recognize donors of contributions of $1,000 or more during the year.
All of the individuals who are supporters of the CDC Foundation are committed to ensuring a safe future for themselves and their families by investing in programs at CDC. Individual acts of generosity are what will propel the CDC Foundation forward in achieving its mission to help CDC do more, faster.
