Current Duties:

  • Advise and consult with Epidemiology Program Office and the CDC Foundation regarding EISAA activities.
  • Meet monthly (by telephone).
  • Review manuscript submissions for the Alexander D. Langmuir Prize and select winner(s).
  • Announce recipients of Alexander D. Langmuir Prize and secure prize(s) for presentation at EIS Conference (i.e., case of Watney’s and $100 check).
  • Call for nominations for Friend of EIS Award by EIS alumni, announce recipient at EIS Conference.
  • Plan agenda for annual EISAA meeting at EIS Conference.
  • Coordinate nominations and election of Executive Committee members.
  • Help raise funds to support additional EIS/EIS alumni activities as they expand.
