Rating from Charity Navigator Reflects Our Commitment to Excellence

For the ninth consecutive year, the CDC Foundation has achieved a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities. According to Charity Navigator, this 4-star rating indicates that the CDC Foundation has exceeded industry standards and outperformed most charities in its cause.

Over the past two decades through effective philanthropy, we have brought the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) together with individuals, philanthropies, organizations and businesses to tackle health threats as diverse as preventing infections in cancer patients to reducing disease burdens around the world to responding to a variety of crises, such as the West Africa Ebola epidemic. I am extremely proud of our work with CDC and the dedication of our Foundation professionals for receiving this well-deserved 4-star rating nine consecutive years.
